Bill Maher Mocks Bitcoin, Citing Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Nassim Taleb

American humorist and TV have Bill Maher ridiculed bitcoin and other digital currencies, including dogecoin, on his show Friday. He cited a few bitcoin pundits: Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, Microsoft originator Bill Gates, and "The Black Swan" creator Nassim Taleb. 


Bill Maher Admits He Doesn't Get Bitcoin 


TV have and political pundit Bill Maher derided bitcoin and other cryptographic forms of money on his Real Time with Bill Maher show Friday. Naming bitcoin, dogecoin, and a couple of other digital forms of money, he said taking everything into account, dogecoin is "equivalent to the wide range of various digital currencies on the grounds that the entire thing is a joke." He called dogecoin "Easter rabbit animation cash," and compared digital currencies to Tinkerbell's light. "Its force source depends entirely on enough kids putting stock in it," he attested. 


Maher at that point discussed Satoshi Nakamoto, expressing that the pseudonymous bitcoin maker's names "are the Japanese words for syndication cash."
